The most common questions from live agency use.
Why doesn't a draft campaign created in the Meta UI show up?
Meta Ads Manager draft campaigns are invisible to the Marketing API — they appear in sync only after publishing. That's Meta behaviour, not a bug.
Can lead status (Contacted/Qualified) be pushed back to Meta's Leads Center?
No — Meta exposes leads as read-only via API. The supported path is the Conversions API “Conversion Leads” integration (M6.1 on our roadmap): status changes flow to the pixel as CRM events and Meta learns campaign optimization from them. The Leads Center status column still won't change.
Can I upload multiple images or video to one ad?
Yes: up to 10 images — “Meta picks” (the system chooses per placement) or Gallery (scrollable carousel, 2–10 cards). Instant-Form ads currently use the Gallery form with one primary text (headline variants become the card titles). Video upload arrives in a later iteration.
Why is form creation immediate instead of going through the Changes queue?
A Meta lead form is a page-level object (not owned by the ad account) and is born published — a “draft in the queue” state wouldn't mean anything. So the builder creates directly, while the ad chain (campaign/ad set/ad) always goes through the Changes queue, paused.
Two or three of us want to work in the same ad account — how?
The workspace owner claims the account ONCE; everyone else joins via email invite (Manager/Editor/Viewer role). All members see the same mirror; change drafts are per-user, and the activity log records who did what.
What happens on a Meta rate-limit?
Nothing to do on your side: sync and push are re-queued and resume automatically. The UI shows an amber notice while waiting — pressing again won't speed it up.
